As a global software company, our own workforce and the associated expertise are a key factor for our success. Our employees are our most valuable asset. We value a work environment characterized by fair working conditions, equal treatment and opportunities, and mutual appreciation. To increase our attractiveness as an employer, we focus on maintaining close dialogue with our employees, promoting flexible working models, and providing training and continuing education. Learn more about our commitment in our Sustainability Statement.

Attractive Working Conditions for a strong Corporate Culture

At the Nemetschek Group, we value open and trusting communication. We strengthen social dialogue to actively incorporate our employees' perspectives into our decision-making processes. Through regular communication formats, we aim to promote employee satisfaction and engagement. We are also committed to a "speak-up culture". Our employees can submit confidential reports via our Whistleblower System or address questions directly to management during hybrid town hall meetings.

As an international employer, we offer a modern work environment that focuses on flexibility, work-life balance, and a sense of belonging for our employees. Hybrid work models, family-friendly working hours, and modern home office options enable our employees to optimally balance their work and private lives. This not only increases the satisfaction and motivation of our teams, but also our attractiveness as an employer.

With our People Letter of Commitment, we define fundamental leadership and employee topics worldwide, as well as key aspects of employee recruitment, performance assessment, and health management. The Group-wide Code of Conduct, which serves as our compass of values, also sets out principles of conduct within the Group and provides clear guidance for our joint actions. Furthermore, the Nemetschek Group's core values are communicated and embedded across the Group via the Board Letter.

Continuous Learning & Growth

At Nemetschek Group, we invest in our people because we believe continuous learning drives innovation, sustainability, and long-term success. By balancing individual needs, targeted learning programs and online learning, our goal is to equip our workforce to excel in their roles and grow both personally and professionally.

In line with our commitment to equality, inclusion, and fairness, we ensure that everyone has access to training and development – regardless of their location or background. In 2025 up to August, 51% of our colleagues actively used LinkedIn Learning, reflecting our team’s commitment to building a culture of learning.

Culture of Lifelong Learning

Learning is part of our culture and continuous development is central to Nemetschek Group’s success. Our culture values curiosity, growth, and innovation, ensuring professional development and business outcomes go hand in hand. We encourage employees to grow, innovate, and shape the future of our industry.

Accessible Learning for All – Your Opportunities

In today's fast-changing world with constant innovation and shifting demands, learning needs to be accessible and flexible.  We are committed to empowering our employees with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their careers and be ready for the challenges that the future holds.

  • AI Upskilling Programs – run by the AI & Data Innovation Hub and HR teams; they combine online courses, best-practice sharing, and company-wide communications to encourage adoption of new technologies. Targeted certification programs are launched for specific technical target groups (Product Management, Research and Development) to gain a competitive edge.
  • Global Learning Platform  –  LinkedIn Learning platform rolled out to the entire workforce, providing high-quality resources and tools to support personal and professional growth.
  • Learning Paths & Personal development webinars - The LevelUp Personal Growth webinar series supports personal career development with practical implementation tips.  Internally curated learning paths focused on future-ready, strategic skills to set us up for success.
  • Tailored Programs – global leadership and management development initiatives designed for specific target groups.
  • Peer-learning & Mentoring – fostering a culture of collaboration through knowledge-sharing and mentorship across the Group.
  • Dedicated Development Conversations – aligned with goal setting and performance reviews to support individual growth and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.

As a growing and transforming organization, we support employee development through mentoring, challenging project assignments, peer networks, employee resource groups, and knowledge-sharing communities.

According to our 2025 employee survey, the vast majority of our colleagues:

  • Feel they are given opportunities to develop skills for future roles.
  • Regularly seek out learning opportunities to stay ahead.
  • Developed at least one new skill in the past three months.
  • Report having the chance to take on tasks that stretch their abilities.

Career Advancement & Transparency

Providing opportunities for internal mobility and pathways for career progression is a priority, and our HR Transformation is helping increase transparency and access to career opportunities across the Group. To help employees navigate their career paths, we are rolling out a global job architecture framework. Internal vacancies are highlighted alongside external postings, making it easier for employees to take the next step in their careers.

Empowering Growth Through Dialogue

At our Group, we believe that open dialogue between managers and employees is the foundation of strong performance and sustainable growth. Regular conversations support learning, personal development, goal alignment, and constructive feedback.

Our businesses differ in size, maturity, and complexity, so we tailor performance discussions to each. Some combine development and goal setting, others use frameworks like Balanced Scorecards, and some take a flexible approach – ensuring local relevance and Group-wide transparency. By combining flexibility with a clear commitment to best practices that drive not just organizational performance, but personal advancement and engagement.

Equal Treatment and Equal Opportunities for all

At the Nemetschek Group, we embrace diversity – with employees from almost 70 nations, we bring together a wide range of perspectives. For us, diversity, equality, inclusion, and belonging are not just values, but the key to innovation and sustainable success.

With targeted programs and training initiatives, we promote the professional and personal development of our employees and support them in fully realizing their potential. Group- and brand-specific training courses raise awareness of essential topics such as equality and diversity and create an awareness of an inclusive corporate culture.

We rely on fair hiring and promotion processes to offer equal opportunities to all applicants and employees – regardless of gender, ethnic origin, nationality, or age. Our clear commitment to diversity is firmly anchored in our People Letter of Commitment. Because we are convinced: Diversity makes us stronger.

Human Rights

Upholding and respecting human rights throughout our entire value chain is a fundamental component of our corporate culture and forms the basis of our corporate social responsibility. We are actively committed to protecting human rights and expect the same from our employees and business partners. Our codes of conduct (Code of Conduct and Supplier Code of Conduct) require both our employees and partners to adhere to generally accepted standards and principles for respecting human rights, including the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Global Compact (UNGC), and the labor and social standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO). Our corresponding declarations on the United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the Norwegian Transparency Act 2022 disclose our risk-oriented approach to combating modern slavery and respecting fundamental human rights and decent working conditions: Australian Modern Slavery Act Statement, Norwegian Transparency Act Statement, UK Modern Slavery Act.

Reports and complaints regarding human rights or compliance violations can be submitted confidentially and, if desired, anonymously at any time via our established internal and external reporting channels, including the Group-wide Whistleblower System and the globally accessible compliance email address. With our robust due diligence process, which is based on OECD recommendations, and regular risk analyses, we also proactively contribute to identifying, monitoring, preventing, and mitigating potential negative impacts of our corporate activities.

Even though the software industry has not yet been identified as a risk-exposed sector for slavery, forced labor, or child labor, we want to raise awareness among our employees and partners about the protection of human rights. This practical guide on supply chain compliance, which is based on the requirements of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), is intended to increase company-wide awareness and education about current human rights and environmental developments.
