We aim to be a trustworthy, reliable, and honest partner for our customers, business partners, employees, and the public at large. Therefore, we are committed to fair business practices throughout our international operations. The detection, investigation, and termination of unethical, inappropriate, and illegal behavior is one of the most important guiding principles of the Nemetschek Group and is therefore firmly anchored in our corporate culture. Good corporate governance and assuming responsibility for our employees, society, and the environment are of great importance to us.

Corporate Culture

Our corporate culture is characterized by innovation and entrepreneurial thinking. We systematically promote this approach – whether through collaboration with startups or close dialogue with customers and end users to develop pioneering solutions. Through strategic investments and collaborations with venture capital firms, we not only strengthen new technologies and approaches, but also our own innovative strength. Since the founding of the Nemetschek Group, innovation has been an integral part of our identity.

A sense of responsibility towards people and the environment is at the heart of our corporate policy and leadership principles. Our Group-wide codes of conduct – for employees (Code of Conduct) and for suppliers (Supplier Code of Conduct) – set clear standards for integrity and ethical interaction. The Executive Board underscores these values with the Board Letter to all employees, thereby emphasizing the individual responsibility to actively live these principles in their daily work.

A key component of our corporate culture is the responsible handling of unethical, inappropriate, or illegal behavior. We promote an open and trusting "speak up" culture that allows our employees to report violations of the Code of Conduct or other regulations. This is supported by our Group-wide Whistleblower System, which ensures confidential reporting.

Speak-Up Culture – Our Whistleblower System

Compliance with laws, internal guidelines, and ethical principles is a top priority for the Nemetschek Group. Only by acting in compliance with regulations, integrity, and sustainability can we protect our company, our employees, business partners, shareholders, and stakeholders. To meet this requirement, it is crucial to identify potential misconduct early and prevent it consistently.

Our digital whistleblower system therefore offers a secure way to report potential violations – anonymously if desired. The protection of whistleblowers and a fair and confidential process are at the heart of every report. The system is open not only to our employees, but also to business partners, customers, and other relevant stakeholders. To the Whistleblower System.

Management of Relationships with Suppliers, including Payment Practices

As a global software company, we are committed to fair payment terms for all our suppliers. The principles of our collaboration with suppliers and business partners are enshrined in our Supplier Code of Conduct. We expect our suppliers and business partners, as well as their employees, to always act responsibly and fully comply with the laws, rules, and regulations of the countries in which they operate. We also require our business partners to adhere to the core principles of our Supplier Code of Conduct, as well as the principles of the UN Global Compact (UNGC) and the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Sustainable and responsible supplier relationships are a top priority for us as an international software company. Our entrepreneurial approach considers both supply chain risks and impacts on sustainability aspects. As part of its business partner due diligence, the Nemetschek Group carefully selects its business partners, particularly with regard to corruption prevention. In the strategic procurement process, ecological criteria are also incorporated into the selection of business partners – depending on the type of goods and services. Potential partners are evaluated based on sustainability factors such as energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies, waste management, and circular economy approaches.

Corruption and Bribery

The Nemetschek Group is fully committed to fair competition and consistently rejects corruption and bribery. We are convinced that long-term business success is only possible through lawful and responsible conduct – an approach that simultaneously strengthens the trust and satisfaction of our stakeholders. An open corporate culture and an established compliance management system are essential building blocks in the fight against corruption and bribery.

To identify violations of applicable laws – particularly anti-corruption and anti-bribery regulations – as well as internal standards and guidelines at an early stage, we rely on regular risk analyses and audits. In addition, our Group-wide whistleblowing system enables the confidential reporting of potential violations, thus contributing to the identification and assessment of risks. Furthermore, the Nemetschek Group has introduced a series of targeted actions to raise awareness of corruption and bribery risks across the Group and to strengthen them preventively.

As a global software company, we work with a wide range of business partners along our entire value chain. To minimize the associated legal, financial, and reputational risks, we pursue a risk-based approach to dealing with business partners. This includes, among other things, our Supplier Code of Conduct and a comprehensive due diligence review. A standardized internal investigation process also ensures the systematic investigation of compliance violations and the implementation of appropriate remedial actions.
