Munich, Budapest, February 17, 2023 - From April 17 to 22, 2023, BAU in Munich will once again open its doors. Graphisoft, manufacturer of Archicad and DDScad, will exhibit in Hall C5 of BAU 2023 at the exhibition center in Riem. All the construction software manufacturers and providers of software services that are renowned in the construction industry will be represented in the exhibition hall. The Nemetschek Group will receive its guests for the first time at a spacious joint stand. Ten exhibiting brands belonging to the internationally active group will be united under one roof on the stand: Holistic, Open BIM-oriented and focused on the entire building life cycle. Graphisoft with its integral BIM planning software Archicad takes an important place here.

The Nemetschek Group is using BAU 2023, together with its ten subsidiaries ALLPLAN, Bluebeam, CREM Solutions, dRofus, FRILO, Graphisoft, Nevaris, SCIA, Solibri and Vectorworks, to give an overview of its solutions for more efficiency and sustainability along the entire building life cycle. For the first time, the brands will present themselves at an impressive joint stand under the umbrella of the Nemetschek Group in Hall C5. As before, they also set individual accents.

Graphisoft will welcome its guests in its usual presence and professionalism at BAU 2023. With an area of over 100 square meters, the exhibition space that will show Archicad, BIMx, BIMcloud and DDScad in project use occupies a generous area at the joint stand. The joint appearance with ten Nemetschek brands underlines the Munich Group's claim to further optimize collaboration between individual partners on a construction project with digital solutions in order to further minimize time- and resource-intensive friction losses. Together, the Nemetschek Group demonstrates the synergies that can be achieved with its solutions across the entire value chain in the AEC/O industry. The strong, open brands support their customers along the life cycle of buildings with cross-discipline and cross-product solutions and workflows.

Bundled knowledge on the trade fair stand for integrated planning
Archicad has always positioned itself as a multidisciplinary as well as integral planning tool for building construction within the Group. In addition, Graphisoft will be represented on site with DDScad, its specialist software for building services engineering. It complements the established product portfolio of Archicad, BIMx and BIMcloud in a meaningful way: DDScad closes a gap to the specialist engineering offices for building services, which are working ever more closely with architects in digitally shaped planning processes.

A total of twelve high-performance computer workstations will be set up at the Graphisoft trade fair stand, which covers more than 100 square meters. They will provide interested trade visitors with a comprehensive insight into the Graphisoft world. In addition, the company will present the coordinated workflows around Archicad for architects, structural engineers and building services engineers. A cross-manufacturer and cross-platform
Open BIM planning approach is the important basis for optimal processes in every construction project. Graphisoft and the other brands of the Nemetschek Group have been committed to Open BIM for many years: Already from the first design sketch to building operation and deconstruction at the end of a property's life, all relevant processes can be realized and planned with cost certainty using their solutions.

On all six days of BAU 2023 in Munich, Graphisoft employees will be on site for users and interested visitors at the booth in Hall 5C.

Holistic planning for the architecture of tomorrow

For Graphisoft Managing Director Eberhard Stegner, the new stand concept at BAU 2023 offers a variety of connecting points in the Nemetschek cosmos and important potential for a long-term brand symbiosis, from which customers in particular should benefit. Eberhard Stegner: "We recognize that the overall life cycle of a building is becoming increasingly important. In times of global raw material shortages, energy price explosion and rising building product prices, we have to conserve and preserve the available resources. Model-based BIM planning, in which all parties involved in the project work closely together, maximizes planning quality, minimizes raw material consumption and avoids wasting resources. We therefore support our customers with the Archicad and DDScad software solutions to successfully achieve their goal - and also to generate additional qualities with the many products of the Nemetschek Group."

During the six days of BAU 2023, the motivated Graphisoft employees will be available for Archicad users, interested students, architects and planners at the booth. For the first time after the COVID pandemic, the fair gives the opportunity to talk to each other live and on-site in Munich without any restrictions and to network "eye-to-eye". A visit to Graphisoft in hall C5, combined with a good coffee at the booth, is therefore even more worthwhile!

About GRAPHISOFT and Archicad

Graphisoft launched Archicad, the first model-based design software - what is now considered BIM - in 1984. Working with Archicad is particularly intuitive thanks to its user-friendly interface and allows users to work with a central model from which all drawings and calculations are derived live. The company also leads the industry with innovative solutions such as BIMcloud®, which enables simultaneous collaboration between all partners. BIMx® from Graphisoft is the world's leading mobile application for easy access to BIM for owners and project participants. With numerous interfaces to other software solutions, the exchange of 3D and BIM information with other planning partners, such as structural engineers, building technicians or energy consultants, is accelerated and optimized. For BIM-based data exchange, the IFC interface forms the basis for the OPEN BIM process, i.e. open model-oriented data exchange.
