16-17 September 2026 Copenhagen

From Digital Ambition to Real-World Impact.

The construction and real estate industry is at a turning point. Digital tools are widely adopted, data is everywhere, and major investments have already been made. At the same time, complexity is increasing. Sustainability demands are rising. Regulations are tightening. And pressure on productivity continues to grow. Software solutions has the ability to empower the built environment to turn data into decisions, collaboration into results, and digitalization into measurable value.

Following the two events in Munich & Paris, BIM World Copenhagen was established to bridge that gap between ambition and reality and bring the built environment together. In Copenhagen, professionals share what actually works and how data and digital tools lead to better decisions, stronger collaboration, and more sustainable outcomes.

Join BIM World Copenhagen – Scandinavia’s leading event on digitalization of the building industry 16-17 September 2026!

The Nemetschek Group, as a driver of innovation and digitalization in the building industry, is a Premium Partner of BIM World Copenhagen 2026 and will exhibit its portfolio of software solutions for the entire lifecycle of buildings together with its innovative brands: Bluebeam, Graphisoft and Solibri.

MAIN FORUM | 09.40 - 10.00 am CET

Keynote: “From Coordination to ExecutionI: The Rise of  AEC Project Intelligence"

Dr. Jimmy Abualdenien is Chief Innovation Officer for the Design Division at Nemetschek Group and CTO of the Open Collaboration Platform. A recognized expert in AI, digital collaboration, and open workflows for the AEC industry, he is leading the development of technologies that connect people, data, and software across the entire building lifecycle.

Construction projects are still delivered through fragmented phases, disconnected disciplines, and workflow-specific tools. Design coordination and site execution often operate as separate worlds—each with its own requirements, data, handovers, and manual processes—despite serving a single project timeline and shared delivery outcome.

AI is changing that model. By semantically connecting project artifacts, requirements, relationships, and real-time context across disciplines and phases, project intelligence can span from design coordination through construction execution. The result is a more integrated operating model: issues are identified earlier, information flows to the right participants at the right time, and routine coordination work can be automated.

This keynote explores how AI-driven project intelligence will reinvent AEC workflows—linking previously disconnected activities, enabling proactive notifications and actions, and helping every participant make faster, better-informed decisions. The opportunity is not simply to optimize individual tasks, but to continuously move the entire project forward with greater confidence, control, and collaboration.
