Nemetschek Group amongst Top 10 in German Mittelstand

Munich, March 14, 2018 - The Nemetschek Group, the largest software provider for the AEC sector (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) in Europe, has once again been awarded. In the ranking "Top 100 of the medium-sized companies 2017", the consulting company Munich Strategy Group placed the Nemetschek Group on rank 6, meaning that the group of companies is one of the best medium-sized enterprises in Germany. For the study, a total of 3,500 medium-sized companies were analyzed.

The study "Top 100 of the middle class" annually appreciates the stars of the German Mittelstand. Assessment criteria for the ranking are revenue growth and the EBIT margin over the past five years.

"With its innovative software solutions, the Nemetschek Group is driving and shaping the changes in the entire AEC industry, paving the way for the digital age for other medium-sized companies", says Dr. Sebastian Theopold, Managing Director of the Munich Strategy Group and author of the study.

Medium-sized companies with digital products or services are the big winners of the "TOP 100 2017". In 2016, compared to other industries, they were place second with regards to their share of the TOP 100, revenue growth and EBIT margin. In 2017, the technology sector moved to the top in all areas. 15 percent of the "TOP 100" companies are "pioneers of digitization," according to the authors of the study.

At the end of 2017, the Nemetschek Group had already received the "Axia Award" for sustainable entrepreneurship in the "Strategy" category. The Axia Award is presented by Deloitte, Wirtschaftswoche and BDI. The jury praised, among other things, the sustainable growth strategy of the Nemetschek Group and the clear focus on the AEC market.
