Nemetschek Engineering Group launches sixth “International User Contest”
Herk-de-Stad, 14. August 2008 - Under the auspices of Nemetschek Scia, the Belgian developer and vendor of civil engineering software, the Nemetschek Engineering Group has announced the start of the sixth international user contest. A new development this year is that participants can submit construction projects designed using products from all companies within the Nemetschek Engineering Group. As well as Nemetschek Scia nv, the Nemetschek AG Engineering Group also includes Nemetschek Allplan GmbH, Nemetschek Engineering GmbH, Nemetschek Frilo GmbH and Glaser – isb cad – Programmsysteme GmbH.The competition is entitled the “Nemetschek Engineering User Contest 2009” and includes new categories. Effective immediately, all customers of the Nemetschek Engineering Group are requested to submit their projects in the following categories: CAE Constructive Elements; CAE Housing and Buildings; CAE Civil Works; CAE Industrial Buildings and Plants; CAE Special Projects; CAD Engineering, Buildings; CAD Engineering, Engineering Works and Special Structures.
All participants have the option to submit more than one project. An international jury of experts will assess submissions for originality, complexity, technical level and use of the software functions. All projects will be published in the “Nemetschek Engineering User Contest Book”, with a print run of 13,000. Works that have been nominated and awarded prizes will also be mentioned in the newsletters and websites of the Nemetschek Engineering Group companies.
